A restored 18th-century palazzo of 24 suites in terraced gardens on Lake Como’s western shore.

Passalacqua, sister property to Grand Hotel Tremezzo, spreads 24 suites across three historic residences: the ornate main Villa, the converted stables known as Palazz, and the lakefront Casa al Lago, available for exclusive use. Frescoed ceilings, Murano chandeliers, and silk-draped balconies meet discreet contemporary comforts throughout.

Dining is overseen by Michelin-starred chef Viviana Varese, whose Italian home cooking is served in frescoed salons and on garden terraces above the lake. The spa occupies repurposed historic tunnels, with steam rooms, saunas, and relaxation spaces, and the grounds hold a garden-fringed pool, tennis courts, and a private jetty for boating excursions on the lake.
