A lakeside palace hotel in St. Moritz, open since 1896 and still carrying its founding family’s name.
Badrutt’s Palace Hotel opened in 1896 and keeps its heritage in preserved façades, panelled salons, and grand ballrooms, restored after a major fire in 1967. Its 164 rooms include 35 suites, from Superior doubles to expansive butler-serviced suites with lake views; the recent Serlas Wing adds 25 mountain-view rooms in stone and timber, linked to the main building by a climate-controlled escalator tunnel.
Palace Wellness holds an indoor infinity pool, outdoor vitality pool, saunas, and a fitness studio. Seasonal activities run from a private ice rink and ski school services to paddle boarding and horseback riding, and dining spans six venues, led by the Japanese-Peruvian La Coupole-Matsuhisa.
