Originally opened in the 1950s, Splendido Mare underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2021 by Festen Architecture, its design reimagined to evoke Portofino. The hotel holds just 14 rooms and suites, many with private terraces or balconies looking over the harbor, and interiors that blend classic Italian style with a modern sensibility.
A Mediterranean restaurant, a bar, and an ice cream parlor sit on site, while guests also have access to the amenities of the nearby Belmond Hotel Splendido, its sister property, including an infinity pool and spa, along with complimentary boat tours and access to the Bagni Fiore beach club.
