An eco-hotel tucked into the forests of South Tyrol, focused on well-being and built from regional materials.
Saltus is the first eco-hotel in San Genesio, at 1,100 meters above sea level in the Green Riviera of South Tyrol, built with natural materials from the region. Designed in a Wabi-Sabi style, it recedes into its surroundings, and its rooms and suites are finished in the same regional materials, with views of the mountains beyond.
The spa holds saunas, steam baths, indoor and outdoor pools, a relaxation room, a yoga room, and a fitness area, and the restaurant serves organic dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. Near Bolzano, among meadows and forests, the hotel makes a quiet base for hiking, cycling, and skiing in the Dolomites.
