A 12th-century Knights Templar commandery turned hillside hotel overlooking the Côte d’Azur.
Originally a 12th-century Knights Templar commandery, Château Saint-Martin & Spa sits on a hillside in Vence overlooking the Mediterranean coastline. The 14-hectare estate holds 47 accommodations, including six hillside villas, each with panoramic terraces and Mediterranean views.
Terraced gardens dotted with century-old olive trees lead to the 400-square-meter Spa Saint-Martin by La Prairie, where treatments draw on contemporary skincare and local wellness traditions; a heated infinity pool and two clay tennis courts round out the grounds. The Michelin-starred Le Saint-Martin serves Mediterranean cuisine on a panoramic terrace, while L’Oliveraie plates seasonal Provençal fare beneath the olive groves.
