A 15th-century monastery in the hills of Fiesole, relaunched in 2026 with 39 rooms overlooking Florence.
Villa San Michele occupies a former 15th-century monastery set on terraced gardens cascading toward Florence, its Gothic arches, monastic corridors, and terracotta floors intact. After a 2026 relaunch, the hotel holds 39 rooms and suites with handcrafted furnishings, marble bathrooms, and terraces facing the city skyline.
Dining runs from Antesi, set within the 16th-century loggia, to Tuscan classics at Ristorante San Michele and freshly prepared pizzas at the poolside San Michele Grill, while a historic wine cellar hosts sommelier-guided tastings. A heated outdoor swimming pool, spa treatments, a Technogym-equipped fitness studio, and cooking classes fill the rest of the day.
