A family-owned riverside landmark on the Amstel, welcoming guests since 1896.
Set on the site of a 15th-century bastion, De L’Europe has welcomed guests since 1896 behind its landmark red-brick façade, with sweeping views of the Amstel. Family-owned to this day, the hotel holds 107 rooms and suites that combine historic character with modern comfort, and a private canal dock and riverside terraces put the Royal Palace, Rijksmuseum, and Rembrandt House within walking distance.
Restaurant Flore, holder of two Michelin stars, leads five venues that run from French and Italian dining to craft cocktails at Freddy’s Bar and the hidden Chapter 1896. Le Spa adds an indoor pool, saunas, and treatments built on premium skincare.
